Obituary for Andrew Steven Kondrath

Andrew Steven Kondrath, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28 rd , 2020 just shy of his 66 th birthday at
Berkshire Center, Exeter Pa where he was a resident for the last 2 years.

Born June 2, 1954 in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Andrew J Kondrath and Shirley R (Ulrich) Shimp. Andy
attended Daniel Boone High School in Birdsboro PA, at that time he became an apprentice in the field of heating and air
conditioning. He was licensed at age 17; the youngest person to be licensed in the city of Reading in the 1970’s. Andy
was an extremely talented tradesman. He worked throughout his life perfecting his trade in heating & air conditioning,
plumbing, roofing, mechanics, and general contracting. He was extremely intelligent and had a strong work ethic. Andy
was known as the go to guy when you needed advice, and he loved to offer his help.

Surviving Andy is his mother Shirley R Shimp, wife of Anthony, West Lawn PA, his only daughter Tiffany A Mohr, wife of
John and his only grandson Daulton Mohr, Douglassville PA. Surviving family members include Constance Ludwig, of
Glenmore PA, Krystal King, wife of late Stephen King of Birdsboro PA, brothers Jeffery Kondrath, Exeter PA, Mark
Kondrath, Ocean City MD, and Scott Katzin, husband of Tammy of Shillington PA, and stepbrothers Barry Katzin and Rick
Katzin. Andy is also survived by his ex-wife Debbie (Bliesath) Gilbreath, mother of Tiffany, Reading PA with whom he had
remained lifelong friends.

He was predeceased by father Andrew J Kondrath, Reading PA in 2002, Jeffery Katzin, Robert Katzin, and Brenda Katzin.

A private gathering will be held for friends and family to celebrate Andy’s life at a later time, due to the current health
crisis.
