Andrew J. Kuzmission, 86, passed away on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Beverly T. (Grohol) Kuzmission, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Harwood, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Velky) Kuzmission. After graduation from West Hazleton High School in 1954, he spent three years in the United States Army. He graduated from Penn State University (Class of 1961) with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering before embarking on a long career as an engineer with Firestone, Polymer, and Armstrong Products before retiring from Valspar (formerly Farboil). Andrew enjoyed golf and was a member of Heidelberg Country Club. He also enjoyed his Corvette, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons whom he adored.
A devout Catholic, Andrew was a member of the Church of St. Benedict.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, Andrew is survived by son, Andrew "Drew" Kuzmission (wife Colene) of Shrewsbury, MA; daughter, Tracey Kuzmission (wife Pamela Walmer) of Mohrsville; brother, John Kuzmission (wife Carol) of Pennsburg; sisters, Mary Ann Varano of Naperville, IL and Susan Marsicano of Drums; and grandsons, Andrew "AJ" Kuzmission and Jason Kuzmission.
Services for Andrew will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Committal will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA.
