Obituary for Antoinette Mary Lozinski (Michalak)

Antoinette Mary "Tosia" (Michalak) Lozinski, 85, of Cumru Township, passed away on February 28, 2023, at the Reading Hospital.

She was the loving wife of Walter J. Lozinski. Adoring childhood sweethearts they married on September 17, 1955.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Falinski) Michalak.

She was a graduate of Alvernia High School.

Antoinette was employed in sales for Boscov’s Department Store and later for Green Valley Nursery, retiring in 2009.

A devout Catholic, Antoinette was a long-time member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington. Her family and faith were always paramount to her; she cherished her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen and Joe Harakel for their loving kindness they showed the Lozinski family through the years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Diane, wife of Timothy Rakowiecki, Womelsdorf, PA, Robert, husband of Robin Lozinski, Edgecomb, ME, and Pamela, wife of John Hoch, York, PA; and two sisters, Joan, wife of John Kiwak, Blandon and Mary Ann, widow of Gary Kissinger, Bernville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Zachary, husband of Alicia Hoch, and Alexander Hoch, fiancée to Samantha Boughan; two great-grandchildren, Oliver Hoch and Adalynn Hoch, All of York, PA; her sister-in-law, Mary, wife of Tom Sheaffer, Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday March 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, PA 19607 with Entombment to follow at the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Edward J.
