Obituary for Beatrice O. Heiser
Beatrice O. Heiser (nee Wetten) of Michigan City, IN passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Rittenhouse Senior Living in Michigan City.
She was born February 2, 1921, in Pottsville, PA to Harry Arthur and Esther Wetten who preceded her in death. She was married on February 24, 1945, in Reading, PA to Raymond Heiser who preceded her in death.
Beatrice is survived by her children, Sherry Ann Smith of Michigan City and Daryl R. (Linda) Heiser of Franklin, IN; grandchildren: Chris Smith, Kevin (Melissa) Smith, Eric Heiser, Jennifer (Chris) Smith; great-grandchildren: Madeline Smith, Ashlyn Heiser, Brynlee, Beckett and Blaine Smith. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Beatrice was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her hotdogs from Carlsons and chocolates and good coffee. She will be deeply missed.
Due to CDC guidelines and the health of our community, private services with immediate family only will be handled by Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360. A Memorial will be held at a later date.
