Obituary for Betty J. Holland
Betty J. (Goheen) Holland, 81, of Shillington, passed away December 13, 2020, at the Reading Hospital from COVID-19.
She was the loving wife of Robert P. Holland. They married on October 1, 1977.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Hirneisen) Goheen.
She was employed by the Shillington Market as a clerk for 31 years.
Betty was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She was a warm, caring, selfless person. Betty took great pride in her family making afghans for all the grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to craft fairs, watching birds and feeding the squirrels daily.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by ten children: Robin (Jeff) Braine, Sheri (Randy) Tait, Cyndi (Scott) Dawson, Rondelle Lorah, companion to Joe Periandi, Ronald, Jr. (Alexis) Hohl, Kevin (Cookie) Holland, Robert Holland, Jr, Michele (Richard) Ahrens, Ann Marie (Rob) Levan and Eric (Carmen) Holland. Twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survive her.
Betty was predeceased by her son, Steve Holland.
