Obituary for Brenda Gail Sload
Brenda Gail Sload, 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in her Blandon residence.
She was the loving wife of Barry K. Sload; they were married on June 6, 1964.
Born in Logan, WV, she was a daughter of the late Stanley A. and Juanita Wentzel.
Brenda was a graduate of Exeter High School in1962.
She was an executive assistant at Worley Parsons for 25 years.
Brenda cherished her family. She was very proud to be married for 58 years, was very involved in her grandchildren's lives, and loved to spend as much time with her family as she could. She enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. She and Barry enjoyed going to spring training every year.
She was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Fleetwood.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Thomas B. Sload (Jacqueline) of Calabash, NC and Tonya L. LeVan (Hugh) of Maidencreek, PA; four grandchildren: AJ Sload (Jaclyn), Christian Sload, Emily LeVan, and Sydney LeVan, and brother, Thomas Wentzel (Mary) of Reading, PA.
