Carl J. Aron, Jr., 83, of Fleetwood, passed away February 24, 2021, in Reading Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Mary A. (Dmochowski) Aron; they were married for 58 years.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carl J. Aron, Sr. and Alice (Dukay) Aron.
He was a graduate of Reading High School and served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines Corps.
Carl was employed by: Berkshire Knitting Mills, Polymer Corp., Agere and retired from Berks Heim as a security guard.
He was an avid hunter, enjoyed bowling, golf, auto racing, and Corvettes. In his younger years he loved to roller skate and delivered telegrams and newspapers on his bike.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brett J., husband of Debra (Glass) Aron, Sinking Spring; two granddaughters, Alexa and Taylor and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy.
A viewing will be held Monday, March 1, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Funeral services and entombment at Gethsemane Mausoleum will be private.
