Charles F. Henry Jr., 76, passed away September 22, 2018, in his Laureldale residence.
He was the beloved husband of Grace (Davis) Henry, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles F. Sr., and Dorothy (Sheetz) Henry.
Charles was a 1960 graduate of Oley Valley High School.
He was employed by Tray-Pak as a project engineer for over 30 years, retiring in 2012.
Charles was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Buckskin’s Hunting Camp. He enjoyed going to the flea markets and also being a vendor at those locations. But his truepassion was working with his hands and tinkering in his garage. He built a small motorcycle for his granddaughter and a hot rod from the ground up.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Todd Henry, Wernersville, and Lisa, wife of Norman Venkler, Muhlenberg Township. He is also survived by his two siblings, Charlene DeMarte and Mary Ann Raymond; and two grandchildren, Justin Strohm and Lindsey Venkler.
