Obituary for Charles Peter Rampolla

Charles P. Rampolla, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 60. He is survived by two daughters, Leah Rampolla of Kaneohe, HI; and Elisha Pavlick, wife of Michael Pavlick, and their three sons, William Charles (5), Jack Thomas (3), and Benjamin Michael (1) of Philadelphia; one brother, Robert Rampolla of Muhlenberg Township, husband of Sheila Rampolla; one niece, Lauren Rampolla of Exeter, wife of Jenni Howley; his mother, Betsy Rampolla, of Wyomissing, and his partner, Cathy Mayernik. He was predeceased by his father, Carl Rampolla.

Charles was an active member in many local organizations; he was vice president of Pagoda Skyline Inc. and delighted the Reading community every Christmas Eve for many years by flashing the Pagoda, to let everyone know Santa Claus was spotted in the skies above Mt. Penn. Charles was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #435- St. John's, Stony Creek AA, East Ends AA, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, and the Reading Motorcycle Club.

A graduate of Reading High School's class of 1980, Charles also received an A.S. in Electronics from Lincoln Tech in Allentown in 1982, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Albright College in 1996. Charles was employed at Lucent Technologies as a Process Analyst and more recently at Johnson Controls.

A service will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery's chapel in Muhlenberg Township on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Berks Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
