Obituary for Charlotte M. Carrigan

Charlotte M. Carrigan, 95, passed away on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 in her daughter's home in Swoyersville. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph H. Carrigan Jr., with whom she shared 62 years.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Fannie "Margaret" (Black) Videtto.
Charlotte was of the Catholic faith, a member of St. John Bosco Church for 40 years and Our Lady of Mercy for 25 years.

Following in her mother's footsteps, Charlotte worked in sales, notably for 25 years with Sears & Roebuck and several years at Knoebels Amusement Park. She was generous with her time and gave back by helping out at TOPS and Our Lady of Mercy Annual Carnival.

Charlotte will be lovingly remembered by her son, Joseph H. Carrigan III (Sharon) of Sinking Spring; daughters, Patricia Bisbing of Swoyersville, and Linda O'Dell (James) of Gettysburg; grandsons: James Carrigan of Shoreline, WA; Joseph Bisbing (Kenzi) of White Lake, MI; Charles Bisbing of Swoyersville; Daniel Centofanti of Warminster; and Christopher Centofanti (Jill) of Sarasota, FL; granddaughters: Bridget Carrigan of Boynton Beach, FL; Marissa Carrigan of Manayunk; and Dominique Crossling (Patrick) of Mechanicsburg; and great-grandchildren, Austen and Grayson Bisbing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius RC Church, 2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Morris Animal Refuge, 1242 Lombard St, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
