Obituary for Cindy A. Allen (Lantz)
Cindy Ann Allen, 62, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at ManorCare in Laureldale.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Louise M. Klahr of Sinking Spring and the late Franklin W. Lantz, Sr.
Cindy graduated from Reading High School. She was employed at Service Access Management for 25 years, working in various administrative roles before her retirement.
She enjoyed crocheting and all kinds of arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Cindy will be remembered for her kindness. Always soft spoken, she was very caring and loving.
Cindy is survived by her mother, Louise; son, Jeffrey Allen of Sinking Spring; four grandchildren: Katie Allen, Jeannine Allen, Ella Allen, and Eva Hoffman. She will be lovingly remembered by siblings: Franklin Lantz, Jr. of New Hampshire, Diane Klahr Arndt of Leesport, Nevin Klahr of Sinking Spring, Teresa Lantz, Scott Lantz, Christine Lantz, Tina Lantz, Troy Lantz, and Sarah Lantz.
She was predeceased by her father, Franklin W. Lantz, Sr; stepfather, Daniel Klahr; brother, William Klahr; and sister, Daphne Moyer.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. The viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
