Obituary for Collin Nicklaus Folk

Collin Nicklaus Folk, 14 years young, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was the youngest child of Frederick K. and Caterina D. (Richards) Folk of Sinking Spring.

Collin was born in Reading Hospital on April 5, 2007. He just completed 8th grade at Wilson Southern Middle School. He was very active in his church, West Lawn United Methodist, where he was in the Youth Group, was on the Audio/Visual team and volunteered for West Lawn Wednesdays.

Collin loved all animals big and small, especially his three dogs Ava, Lola and Zoey. He loved standing out, skateboarding, rollerblading, playing video games and watching Anime. His personality was vibrant, affectionate and spunky which was loved by so many.

In addition to his loving parents, Collin is survived by his big brother, Nathan Avery Folk, at home; adoring grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Terrence (Cathy) Cescon of Wyomissing and Deborah Long of Shillington and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent (Caterina Elia) Gigliotti of Wyomissing; three doting aunts, Megan (Richards) Tornielli, wife of Richard Tornielli of Sinking Spring, Amy (Folk) Stadelmeyer, wife of Steven Stadelmeyer of Wyomissing and Kristi Folk of Mechanicsburg and a caring uncle, Matthew Folk, husband of Jamie (Kline) Folk of Cumru Township. Collin is also survived by his four cousins, Wesson, Julia, Paige and Rhys and his best friend, Marcus.

Collin is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, David K. Richards, and paternal grandfather, Jacob H. Folk.

Services will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11am in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Drive, West Lawn, PA 19609, with Pastor Jeff Raffauf officiating. Family and friends will gather in the church before services from 10am to 11am. It is suggested that masks still be worn. Disposable masks will be provided by the funeral home staff if needed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to West Lawn United Methodist Church in care of Collin Folk, 15 Woodside Drive, West Lawn, PA 19609. The church will disperse the funds to various charitable organizations important to Collin’s interests.
