Concetta Rose (Napoletano) Brancadora, 101, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in the care of St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the widow of Vincent P. Brancadora. She was born in Birdsboro to the late Francesco and Maria (Gentile) Napoletano.
Connie and her father had a grocery store in Birdsboro and gave their patrons food on credit during the Great Depression. They kept many families from starvation; they never demanded repayment. Kindness was her guide throughout her life.
Connie is survived by her children: Joanne Brancadora; Camille Mulligan (William); Vincent S. Brancadora (Julie Karas); grandchildren: Amanda Christensen; Matthew Mulligan (Beth); Timothy Mulligan (Shannon); and Alexis Brancadora; great grandchildren, Shaley Christensen and William Mulligan; and brother, Alfred Napoletano. She was predeceased by siblings Carmela Iezzi, JoAnne Miller, Mario, Sam, and Natale Napoletano.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd, Reading, with committal to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
