Obituary for Constantine Olympia Kingree

Constantine (Dolly) Kingree, 93, a resident of Providence Place in Collegeville, passed away peacefully Monday, April 15, 2024. Born and raised in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosina (DiMarcantonio) DeAngelo.

Dolly was a graduate of the class of 1949 of Reading High School. She worked in the Berkshire Knitting Mills, later at Vanity Fair, retiring in 1996. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Parish, West Reading.

Dolly will be remembered for her kind heart, as a woman who always thought of others first. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. From her stockings at Christmas to her candied sweet potatoes, she brought so much joy to her friends and family. She could be found baking in the kitchen, reading a good book, or diving into a new puzzle and enjoyed a nice glass of red wine. She had a smile and laugh that lit up the room and was truly always thinking of others.

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Stephanie DellaCroce, wife of Robert; grandchildren, Matthew DellaCroce and Nicole (DellaCroce) Miller, wife of John; and nieces, nephews, and their families.

Constantine was predeceased by her sister, Helen Knop, and her brothers, Rocco DeAngelo and Louis DeAngelo.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560.
