Obituary for Cynthia Ann Kendrick

Cynthia A. Kendrick, 69, of Mohnton, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, in her residence. Born in Lebanon, Cindy was a daughter of Peter F. Nelson and the late Mildred J. (Klepec) Nelson.

Cindy graduated from Twin Valley High School and later enrolled at RACC before completing her Bachelor’s Degree from Alvernia. She began working at Traveler’s Insurance Company 17 years ago, and rose to the role of Senior Administrative Assistant.

She attended the Church of St. Benedict.

Cindy loved time spent at the beach, and she especially enjoyed collecting seashells. Her family remained very important to her, and she treasured time spent playing cards and games at her siblings’ homes. She always looked forward to watching the Olympics, college gymnastics, and her beloved Green Bay Packers

In addition to her father, Peter, Cindy’s memory is treasured by her children: Kristen McCulloch (Scott) of Topton; Michael Hauptly (Sharon) of Reading; Karen Cowan (Jonathan) of Redondo Beach, CA; and Amy Baily (Jason) of Malvern; her siblings: Kathy Mason (Thomas) of Indianapolis, IN; Steven Nelson (Cynthia) of Green Hills; Michael Nelson (Nancy) of Morgantown; and Erik Nelson (Cheryl) of New York, NY; and her grandchildren: Collin, Tyler, Ryan, Elle, Reese, Poppy, Danielle, Mia, and Harper. Cindy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Church of St. Benedict 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540. Friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be at Caernarvon Cemetery. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements.
