Obituary for David A. Wassmer, Jr.
David A. Wassmer, Jr., 43 of Reinholds, passed away at the Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones on January 2, 2023.
Born in Reading, he was the son of David A., Wassmer, Sr., husband of Cindy Celmer, Reinholds, and his mother, Carol M. (Ravel) Smith, Mohnton.
He was a graduate of Cocalico High School and was employed by Pet Food Experts, as a truck driver.
David enjoyed wood working, hunting and snowmobiling; but most importantly, he cherished his time spent with his beautiful, loving daughter Lyric, who was his entire world.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Lyric Melody Wassmer; a companion, Jenny Ray; and her son, Brady Waldbeisser, each from Shillington; four siblings: Tracie M. Mercado, wife of Gerry Mercado, Leesport, Christie A. Schwab, wife of John Schwab, Auburn, NY, Matthew D. Wassmer, Reinholds, and Mellissa A. Wassmer, Sinking Spring; and two paternal grandparents, Tony and Pauline, Reinholds. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews in which he adored: Christopher Dorsey, Jr., Ciara Mercado, Alexander Mercado, Olivia Schwab, Alijah Morrison, and Amelia Greth.
