Obituary for Dean J. Mohn

Dean J. Mohn entered into eternal rest on February 18th, 2021, in his Mohnton residence with his loving daughter by his side after a two-year battle with cancer.

Dean was born in Reading on June 28, 1964. He was the son of the late Delores (Brown) Mohn. Dean was a graduate of Reading High School. He was a very dedicated employee of Haines and Kibblehouse for the past 20 years. He enjoyed watching the Flyers, Nascar racing, and spending time with his dogs, Boo and Bentley.

Dean is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Mohn Ocasio, wife of Luis Ocasio, Shillington.

Other survivors include a sister, Donna, wife of George Rea, Reading; two nieces, Jennifer (Martin) Manguel, Brentwood, California, and Candi (Tony) Monte, Reading; and a nephew, Chad (Melissa) Rea, Temple. He is also survived by his great-nephews: Logan, Xander, and Darrian, and his great-nieces: Leslie, Tia, Gabbi, Lillian, Madi, and Emily. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Dale Mohn, and his long-time pet dog, Boo.

Dean will always be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Visitors will be welcomed Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc,, West Reading, with services to follow at 12. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
