Deborah Lambros, 93, formerly of West Reading and West Lawn, passed away on November 8, 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, VA.
Her husband, Stephen Lambros, passed away on June 22, 1985.
Born in Hyannis, MA she was the daughter of the late Evimeros and Marigo (Petrious) Fournaris.
In addition to her most precious role of caring for her children as they grew, Deborah was also known as a passionate, dedicated, and reliable employee. From her time at Berkshire Knitting Mills, Sears & Roebuck, and everything in between; whatever she did, she did with a spirit of excellence.
She was an expert cook and loved providing meals for her family and friends. Possessing a critical eye for design, she enjoyed stylish clothing and beautifying her home. She was classy and humble. All who knew her, loved her.
Deborah was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
She was the mother of three children: Constantine "Dean" (Kathryn) Lambros, Fredericksburg, VA; Evan (Miriam) Lambros, Sinking Spring; and the late James Lambros. She was the proud grandmother of Stephen (Carmelita), the late Aaron, Staci (Michael), and Nicholas (Filitsa); and ten great-grandchildren: Elijah, Melina and Costa Lambros; Carly and Courtney Futrick; and Lamar, Tia, Erikka, Dominick and Santiago Kirk. Six great-great-grandchildren: Nicolas, Keoni, Ashton, Micah, Eden, and Koda, and one sister, Christina Georgeadis, also survive her.
Deborah was predeceased by two brothers, Nick and Ross Fournaris and two sisters, Dionsia Petrakis and Vasiliki Zervanos.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11:00 am, at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 East Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611, with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 10 to 11 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the above address. Edward J.
