Obituary for Donald Bruce Truckermiller, Sr.

Donald Bruce Truckermiller, Sr., 78, formerly of Reading, passed away January 2, 2021, at the Reading Hospital due to complications of COVID-19.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Carrie Lillian (Emery) Truckermiller.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Donald was employed by Albright College as a print shop and mailroom supervisor for 32 years, retiring in 2007.

Donald was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a loving, warm, caring, selfless person who was dedicated to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by four children: Donald B. Truckermiller, Jr., Sebring, FL, Lisa, wife of Daniel Tschudy, Womelsdorf, Charles W., husband of Debbie Truckermiller, Exeter Township and Holly A. Truckermiller, wife of Glenn Gunzelmann, Dayton, OH. Three siblings: Frank Truckermiller, Reading, Larry Truckermiller and Alice, wife of Roger Robbins, all of Sebring, FL; four grandchildren: Ryan and Morgan Truckermiller and A. C. and Sean Gunzelmann; and two great-granddaughters: Sarah and Emily also survive him.

Donald was predeceased by his brother, Henry Truckermiller.
