Obituary for Doris P. Broadbelt (Benner)

Doris P. Broadbelt, 85, of Reading, passed away January 3, 2019 in St. Joseph Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Richard B. Broadbelt, with whom she celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Violet (Oberly) Benner.

Doris was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School.

She was employed by Reading Body Works as a buyer retiring in 2009.

Doris was a member of First Church of Brethren, Wyomissing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Mark R. Broadbelt, Woodbury, NJ; Daniel A., husband of Lori Broadbelt, Robesonia; Suzanne C. Richmond, Wernersville; and Constance A., wife of Philip Impink, Sinking Spring. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Athena Levan, Kate Broadbelt, Crystal Evans, Matthew Richmond, Richard Richmond, Caitlin Roth, Paige Impink and Stephanie Kiecko; and eight great-grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Benner.

Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave. West Reading, PA 19611.
