Obituary for Evelyn G. Jablonski (Plantholt)
Evelyn G. "Pinkie" (nee Plantholt, formerly Shuker) Jablonski, 101, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington. She was the loving wife of Bernard “Gabby” A. Jablonski, who passed in 1985.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Rhoads) Plantholt. Evelyn graduated from Reading High School (Class of 1938), She was the manager of the Wilson High School cafeteria for over 20 years until her retirement.
Evelyn is survived by sons, Terry (Donna) Shuker of Kenhorst and Donald (Diane) Shuker of Mt. Penn; grandchildren: Stacy Shuker, Jennifer Gibbs, Kevin Shuker, and Stephanie Shuker; 12 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brother, Robert W. Plantholt and sister, Helen K. Ahrens.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Berks County Memorial Garden, 201 Evansville Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 or at www.berksarl.org
