Obituary for George E. Brumbach Jr.

George E. Brumbach, 82, of Spring Twp. passed away on May 29, 2021, at Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Michelle T. (Turczyn) Brumbach. They had celebrated 56 years of marriage on February 12.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late George E. and Margaret (Corbit) Brumbach.

He was a graduate of Wyomissing High School in 1957, attended Valley Forge Military Academy, and graduated from William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA.

George proudly served his country in the US Army in 1961 and 1962.

He was a security officer for 32 years for Security Guards, Inc., most recently working at the Court House.

George loved his squirrels and birds as well as his dog, Buddy and his cat, Romeo.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Stephen Brumbach, Reading, and Lisa M., married to David Pagerly, Newmanstown; and one granddaughter, Brianna Clark (Ben Arnold), East Prospect, PA. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip Brumbach.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, from 4 to 5 p.m. with a service to begin at 5:00 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
