Obituary for Geraldine F. Wagner (Weber)
Geraldine F. Wagner, 91, formerly of West Reading and Exeter, passed away during the early hours of Wednesday, April 7, 2021. She was the widow of Richard L. Wagner, who passed away in 2012. Born February 10, 1930, in Reading to the late Joseph V. and Elsie R. (Seiters) Weber, Geraldine graduated from Reading High School in 1947.
Geraldine was a longtime member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, Exeter.
She was a past president of the TPA Ladies Auxiliary. Geraldine treasured the important things in life—her family and her faith.
Geraldine is survived by her sons, Michael R. Schmehl of Reading, Steven G. Schmehl of Palmyra, and Jeffrey W. Schmehl of Reading; her stepson, David L. Wagner of Dowington; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and her sister, Doris Dorwart of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was predeceased by her sister, June Lackwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd, Reading PA 19606.
Services for Geraldine will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611, with Rev. Steven Shussett officiating and burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to view from 10 AM until the start of services.
