Obituary for Gerardo Perez Roman
Gerardo “Jerry” Perez Roman, 57, of Cumru Township, passed away, April 30, 2023, at the Reading Hospital.
He was the loving husband of April (McMullen) Perez.
Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Graciano Perez and Ana Perez Roman.
He was employed by Carpenter Technology for 32 years, retiring in 2017.
Family was important to him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle. He enjoyed HGTV, superhero movies, comic books, drinking coffee, bike riding, he was talented at home improvements, and he made everyone laugh. We’ll always treasure the brief time we had with him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Monique Ramirez; wife of Tito Ramirez; Alexia Perez, Christopher Perez; and Marcus Perez. He is also survived by his siblings: Angel Perez; husband of Novelette Perez; Jose Perez, husband of Teresa Perez; Enrique Perez, husband of Betsy Perez and Maria Perez Longstreet, wife of Pat Longstreet. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, Jayson, Ashanti, Ethan, Mia, Kalena, Penelope, Nevaeh, Lisabella, Anjali, and Xavier. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Louie, Nelly, Rick, Justin, Desiree, Jonathan, Alexandra, Brandon, Edwin, Talia, Angela, Victor, Michael, Madelyn, and Nico.
