Obituary for Gina Marie Pingitore
Gina Marie Pingitore, 60, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2022, in her Reading residence.
She was the 30 year companion of Richard Lee DaLessio.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Sally (Perfetto) Emore of Reading.
Gina attended Reading High School and earned her cosmetology degree from Empire Beauty School.
Gina was the owner/operator of Gina’s Hair Designs at three locations throughout her 30 years of work, Oley St. Reading, Philadelphia Ave, Kenhorst, and most recently on Lancaster Ave, Shillington.
Gina was a "fashionista," she had a beautiful style, loved to decorate and was "loud and proud." She deeply loved her work, cherishing making her clients beautiful and helping to make them feel good about themselves. Always unselfish, she loved to help others. She loved her puppies, Sophia and Uma, and her Mini Cooper. Her family was most important to her, and she always cherished her time with them, especially Rick, her children, and grandchildren.
In addition to Rick and her mother, she is survived by her three daughters: Francesca M. Pingitore, Reading; Nicolette E. Pingitore, Birdsboro; and Dominique L. DaLessio, Kenhorst; one sister, Angela M. Macklen, Mt. Penn; and eight grandchildren: Kayla, L.J., Leigha, Jason Jr., Kassandra, Jayleana, Adriana, and Harlow. One uncle, Fredric Perfetto and her former husband, Frank A. Pingitore, II also survive her.
She was predeceased by her brother, Stephen M. Wright.
