Obituary for H. Donald Mullen
Donald Mullen, 77, passed away August 28, 2023, in his Wyomissing residence.
He was the loving husband of Karin E. (Yurdock) Mullen. They married on May 31, 1969. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Amy and Abby, and three grandchildren, Ezio, Veda, and Maddox.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Hardee and Catherine (Snell) Mullen. Donald was a 1964 graduate of Muhlenberg Township High School. He was employed by Rockwell International as a machinist.
Donald enjoyed golfing and bowling as well as watching the Eagles and the Phillies. He was an avid collector of both model trains and cars. He could often be found eating a Reese’s peanut butter cup, playing a card game, or belting out his favorite Journey song.
Donald always wanted the best for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was determined, intelligent, funny, and he always stood up for himself. He will be greatly missed.
