Helynne Mich, 81, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on August 25th at The Keystone Villa at Douglassville.
She was the loving wife of James Mich, Sr. for 58 years.
Born on April 23, 1942 in Easton, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William and Angelina ( Chillot) Boylan.
She was a bookkeeper for The Springford and Birdsboro Pharmacies before retiring in 2009.
Helynne was the proud wife of Coach Mich, former St. Pius X Head Football Coach. She spent her life surrounded by the love of the Pius Family. She enjoyed attending ALL events of her kids and grandkids. She loved vacationing with her family in Ocean City, New Jersey. She also loved chatting on the phone with her good friends.
Helynne is survived by her children, Suzanne Okuniewski and husband John, Kathleen Pufnock and husband Tom, James Mich Jr. and wife Marie. Her grandchildren Emily Haldeman and husband John, JD Okuniewski and wife Kelsey, Tommy Pufnock, Ryan, Matthew and Erin Okuniewski. Her great grandchildren, Liam, Cole and Remi Haldeman. She is also survived by her brother John Delserro.
Along with her parents, Helynne is predeceased by her son, Patrick Mich.
An evening viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 from 6pm till 8pm at The Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc., Pottstown. On Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 a morning viewing will be held from 10am till 10:45am at St Gabriel’s R.C. Church in Stowe. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am.
Following the Mass, burial will be in The Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Douglassville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helynne’s name be made to St. Aloysius Parish School, Pottstown (formerly St. Pius X High School).
