Jack A. Braun, 68, passed away on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Mountz) Braun, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Jack and Shirley (Bast) Braun. A graduate of Wyomissing Area High School (Class of 1972), Jack was a chemical operator at Crompton & Knowels for 23 years and a custodian for Penn State University Berks for 15 years.
Jack was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church. He belonged to Victor Emmanuel II Beneficial Society and was active in the Lower Alsace Fire Company.
Left to cherish to his memory are his wife, Dorothy; sons, Justin Braun (Kelly) of Shillington and Matthew Braun (Jessica) of Exeter; daughter, Crystal (Braun) Rittle (Keith) of Sinking Spring; grandchildren: Ella, Arianna, Ava, Evan, Carson, Quinn, Molly; sister, Susan (Braun) Colpitts (Sid) of Cocoa, FL; and step-sister Barbara Trejo (Jose) of St. Petersburg, FL.
According to his wishes, services for Jack will be private. To honor his memory, contributions to the Lower Alsace Fire Company may be made in his name.
