Janet V. (Goodhart) DeLong, 93, formerly of Spring Township, passed away August 14, 2020, in Sacred Heart Villa Retirement Community.

Janet loved to share her pets with the elderly in assisted living homes and with children alike. Her sense of humor was sure to light up a gathering or a frequent personal visit in her home.
She could be found in her garden with her vegetables weeding or trimming bushes around her yard. Her homemade vegetable soup gave her joy in the making and in sharing with friends. In her earlier years Janet was a proficient seamstress. Sewing drapes and clothing for herself and others.
