Jeannette Ann (Kull) Drey, 88, formerly of Flying Hills, passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2022, at Berks Heim. Jeannette was born in Reading in 1933. She married the love of her life, Marvin Drey, on December 30th, 1953 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church on North 9th Street. They were married for 46 years. She prided herself on her relentless work ethic and contribution throughout her career. Early in her career she was employed by Kelray Knitting Mills and Luden’s Manufacturing. She then joined the work force at Western Electric in 1958, a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T, until her retirement in1988. She was a very proud member of the AT&T family. Jeannette loved spending time with her family, being a grandmom and visiting lifelong friends in Pennsylvania and her second home in Florida, especially with Marvin. She was active in her community, gathering at the Berks County YR Club and as an active member of her Flying Hills community.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Drey) Heffner; two grandsons, Brett Heffner, husband of Elizabeth Heffner and Matthew Heffner; two great grandsons, James Heffner and Luke Heffner; three siblings; Sally Moyer, wife of Rick Moyer, Frederick Kull, husband of Darlene Kull and Patricia DeWald; godson, Michael Moyer, husband of Natalie Moyer and their two sons, Ezekiel Moyer and Cash Moyer. She is survived by an additional 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Drey; her infant son; her parents, Walter Kull and Anna (Ziegler) Dease; three brothers, Walter Kull Jr., Gene Kull and William Kull; and a nephew, Kerry Orth. She will be greatly and deeply missed by her entire family and by anyone who called her a friend.
