Obituary for John E. Howard
John E. Howard 73 passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2019, at the Perry Point Veterans’
Medical Center in Havre De Grace, Maryland.
Born in Baltimore September 1,1945, John was a proud graduate of Mount Washington Country School
for Boys & Calvert Hall High School. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a devoted son of Rita and Jack Howard, both deceased; loving sister of JoAnn Melhorn and her
husband Erwin in West Orange, New Jersey. He was the treasured uncle of Michael Melhorn and his
wife Lorraine, and Elizabeth Fournier and her husband George. He is also survived by his dear great
nephews Michael & Jake Melhorn & Sean Fournier as well as several cousins and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD with entombment to follow at Delaney Valley Memorial Park, 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium MD. Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus in Belair, Maryland.
