Obituary for Joseph W. Butzer
Joseph W. Butzer, 86, of Reading, passed away on January 31, 2022, at Phoebe Berks.
He was born in Reading and was the son of the late Joseph V. and Margaret (Goheen) Butzer.
Joseph worked in sales and served in the United States Navy as a submariner. He enjoyed golfing, boating and fishing.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helen E. Butzer; his son, Joseph A. Butzer; his two daughters, Kathleen Bentz and Margaret Miller; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Barry Butzer and Bradley Butzer.
At the request of Joseph, no memorial services will be held.
