Obituary for Josephine M. Farley (Taylor)

Josephine M. Farley, 91, of Reading, passed away peacefully early on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in the care of Reading Hospital. She was the widow of Albert E. Farley Jr., who passed away in 1996.

She was born in Bridgeville, DE, to the late Charles T. and Anna E. (Short) Taylor.

Jo retired in 1986 after 18 years with Fisher and Porter, Co. of Warminster.

She was a member of Immanuel U.C.C. of Shillington.

She was always interested in how her family and friends were doing and cared very much for the wellbeing of others. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, sister, aunt, and friend.

Left to treasure her memory are his sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” A. Volk (widow of Donald J. Volk) of Reading and Mary C. Robb (William) of Bradenton, FL. Jo is also survived by her nieces and nephews, and their families. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette H. Smith, and her brothers, Theodore B., George E., and Richard Taylor.
