Obituary for Judith A. Wisniewski
Judith Ann Wisniewski, 71, of Boyertown, passed unexpectedly on Saturday July 9, 2022, in the care of the Reading Rehabilitation of Wyomissing. Born in Reading to the late Chester and Dolores (Koch) Wisniewski, Judith graduated in 1968 from Reading High School.
For over 30 years, Judy worked as a Volunteer Director at the United Way of Berks County and as an Intake Manager at the Berks County Intermediate Unit. Most recently, Judy worked at the Oley Turnpike Dairy in the petting zoo and diner, which she absolutely enjoyed. Most important to Judy was her faith and being a devoted Baba (grandmother) to her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her children: Kristin Amore (Stephen), Justin Crawford (Elizabeth), and John Toy, all residing in Boyertown; her grandchildren, Aiden and Adam Amore, Lochlan and Griffin Crawford, and John Toy IV; and her brother Chester Wisniewski. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by sister, Nancy Kemery, and brother, Frank Wisniewski.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Judy’s name or if you prefer to donate to Judy’s funeral fund to assist with expenses, you can do so via GoFundMe.
Funeral Services for Judith will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading. Visitation with the family will be Monday beginning at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Committal will be celebrated privately. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
