Julia A. (Zemerauskas) Catchmark, 84, of Wyomissing, passed away February 4, 2021.
Her husband, John Catchmark, Sr., with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage passed away on September 4, 2018.
Born in Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Helen (Stanus) Zemerauskas.
Julia was a graduate of Blythe Township High School in 1954 and Ashland State Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.
She was employed by Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville as an operating room nurse until 1959.
Julia loved cooking; she always kept family and friends fed and warm with her endless supply of handmade afghans.
Julia enjoyed being a mother but most of all she loved being a Grammy to her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children: John, husband of Wendy, Mohnton; Joanne, wife of Mike Andruchek, Minersville; and Jim, husband of Katie, Wyomissing. She is also survived by four wonderful grandchildren, Jessica and Rebecca Andruchek, Minersville; John, Mohnton and Kate, wife of David Peffley, Temple. She is also survived by her niece, Patricia, wife of Dennis Schuster, Wyomissing.
Julia was predeceased by her beloved sister, Dolores “DeeDee” Lipzok.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 15, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
