Obituary for Katharine M. Randazzo
Katharine "Kitten" M. (Lord) Randazzo, 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Benjamin A. Randazzo, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, Katharine was the daughter of William A. and Catherine M. (Levan) Lord. She graduated from Reading High School and Alvernia University before going on to work as an RN at Reading Hospital, St. Joseph's, Berks Heim, and numerous other locations.
Kit adored spending time with her family-- the loves of her life-- and was always her family's biggest cheerleader.
In addition to her husband, Katharine is survived by her children: Sharon Evangelista (Todd), Benjamin Randazzo, Jr., Jennifer Tinsman (Richard), and Kathy Cunningham (Stephen); her siblings: Nancy Wolf and Sharon Kolenda (Michael), her sister-in-law: Barbara Lord; and her brother-in-law: Daniel Rothenberger. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kelsey, Scott, Sammi-Jo, Shawn, Kyle, Keri, Kayla, Eliza, Benjamin, Zachary, McKenna, Spencer, Josh, and Maddie; as well as her great-grandchildren: Scotty, Liana, Cameron, Carter, Mia, Jase, and Aubrey.
Katharine was predeceased by her daughter, Michele Shober Houston, as well as her siblings, William Lord and Patricia Lord Rothenberger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10:30 am at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held beforehand from 8:30 am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you "pay it forward" in memory of Kit.
