Obituary for Kenneth Mahlon Black

Kenneth M. Black, 57, of Leesport, passed away unexpectedly in his residence on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was a son of the late Mahlon and Joan (McLean) Black.

Born in Reading, Kenny attended Schuylkill Valley School District. He worked in shipping and receiving at Chromoscape, formerly Custom Milling and Consulting LLC. Kenny loved his family and his animals. He enjoyed being in nature, especially the mountains. Gifted with gab, he was a talker.

Left to treasure his memory is his sister, Connie Dietrich, widow of Kenny Dietrich, of Shillington; his brother, Dean P. Black of Sinking Spring; and his nieces, Brandy Zuy of Colorado, Ronni Fisher of Reading, and Shelby Black of Temple.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508.

Friends and family are welcome to gather with Kenny’s family on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, to visit with one another and celebrate Kenny’s life. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
