Khristian J. Mooney, 54, of Reading, passed away in his residence on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Born in Phoenixville to Glenn E. Mooney and the late DeVon J. “Debbie” (Geri), Khristian graduated from Phoenixville High School.

Khris had an artistic spirit and loved to draw, paint, and sketch. He loved animals, and he held fond memories of time spent living and working on a farm, taking care of the grounds and the horses.

He cared deeply for his friends and would do anything in his power to help anybody.

Though he had his struggles, he kept a carefree outlook on life. He was very close to his sister and his niece, with whom he resided for several years. Kandy’s dog, Aspen, became his dog, too.

Khris is survived by his father, Glenn, Pottstown; his brother, K. Jason Mooney, husband of Kara, Honeybrook; and his sister, Kandace Hoover of Sinking Spring. He is also survived by his nieces Kamryn Hoover and Abby Mooney, and nephew, Ethan Mooney.
