Obituary for Lucille A. Dondore (Dondore)

Lucille Dondore, 85, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in the care of Berks Heim. Born January 19, 1935 in Reading, PA, to her parents Paul and Elizabeth (Garde) Dondore.

She graduated from Reading High School. For 40 years she worked as a housekeeper for Richard Palmer and family.

Lucille came to know Jehovah God and dedicated her life through water Baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 30, 1950. From the very start she loved teaching others about Jehovah and His many expressions of love for mankind, including the resurrection hope.

Lucille was truly loved by the congregation and the many people that she spoke to and taught about God's word. If you spent time with her you can see that she really loved God's creations which are a pretty thing, animal and plants.

Sha would take the bus every year to Philadelphia's flower show. Also, at the end of the year, she would go apple picking, and in turn, she took many young ones with her.

Lucille is survived by her nieces and nephews, Joy Dondore, Karen Dondore, Kathleen Wilbourn, Gloria Sort, Dale Beavens, Marlin Mayer, John S. Rososki, and Karen E. Rososki. She is also survived by grand nieces Sarah Porretta and Azalea Lehndorff. She is preceded in death by her sister Fennella Rososki (wife of Edward Rososki) and brother David R. Dondore (husband of Leatrice Dondore)

A Memorial Service for Lucille will be held on January 17, 2021 at 4 PM via zoom service. The Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed and service link viewed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com
