Obituary for Luis Javier Padilla
Luis Javier Padilla, 58, passed away November 6, 2020 in his Reading residence.
He was the beloved husband of Vilma Lopez.
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Luis Padilla Santana and Maria Julia Nater.
Javier enjoyed playing baseball and working with his hands as a construction worker. But most importantly he loved being a family man and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his six children, Luis Alexander Padilla, Christian Padilla, Brian Padilla, Carol Torres, Jessica Torres, and Neisha Ruiz. He is also survived by five siblings, Maribel Lebron, Ivette Padilla, Jorge Padilla, Carmen Luz Lebron, Julio Lebron; and ten grandchildren, Ryan Padilla, Rommell Dominguez, Dasanie Collazo, Manuel Dominguez, Janeysha Ramos, Jenayah Ruiz, J'omar Negron, Jaylanie Rosario, Alexah Perez, and Jayleana Ruiz.
Javier was predeceased by his son, Hector Javier Padilla.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611, with burial for follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
