Obituary for Marcia Ann Bowers
Marcia Ann Bowers, 78, formerly of Reading, passed away April 24, 2021, at Manor Care, West Reading.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John William and Anna Mary (Kalinowski) Bowers.
She was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School.
Marcia was employed by the City of Reading Police Department as a secretary for 18 years, retiring in 1984.
She enjoyed traveling to California, testing her luck at the casinos and sharing her love of animals.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Millmont. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
