Obituary for Mary Annette Hartzman (McGee)

Mary Annette (McGee) Hartzman, 71, passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Reading Hospital
surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katharine (Hildenberger) McGee.

Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. Girls weekends at the beach with her long-time “sisters” from St. Pete’s and their children and grandchildren were something she looked forward to every summer. She was an avid sports fan, and loved getting phone calls from Todd or Dan when they were at an Eagles game, and the fight song was playing. She was a fan of all game shows, and could listen to, or watch her favorite band, Celtic Thunder, every day. She loved being a grand mom (and great-grandmom) and spending time with the little ones, and upon retiring from her job with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Case Worker, she had even more time to do so.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Todd Hartzman and Dan Hartzman (wife Christine). Her siblings Sr. Katharine Mary McGee, IHM and Thomas McGee. She has four grandchildren: Andrew Hartzman, Karissa Lance, Melissa DePaul (husband Frank) and Robert Hartzman (wife Genny) and five great grandchildren: Kaiden, Carter, Liam, Victoria and Adrianna.
