Obituary for Megan L. Kimmel
Megan L. Kimmel, 51, passed away September 26, 2020, in her Reading residence.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Lee T. Fredericks, Sinking Spring and Dorothy L. (Smith) Hoffman, East Earl;
Megan enjoyed watching Law & Order SVU, Criminal Minds and SCI. She also was an avid reader and loved going to the beach with her family.
Megan was a warm, caring, selfless person who loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings with her grandchildren. Megan loved to cook, and she spent many of times in her kitchen making enough food to feed an army. She would feed anyone, no questions asked. If you knew her, you know she loved thrift shopping and finding a good deal on anything she needed. She would always have the brightest smile on her face when she would show off her findings. She had this ability to pull anything out of thin air. If Megan wanted something, weather it was a new couch or a new home, she found a way to do it. She spent her life caring for her children, and she will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children: Derek, husband of Erika Kimmel, Trever Kimmel, Sr., Falen Kimmel and Preston Kimmel and four grandchildren: Trever Kimmel Jr., Joseph Popejoy, Karson Kimmel and Brynlee Kimmel.
