Obituary for Michael Ray Krisher
Michael Ray Krisher, 65, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 in his Bernville residence. He was the loving husband of Clorinda Forte-Katz, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage.
Born in Amherst, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Thelma (James) Krisher. Mike spent his formative years living in England, and returned to the US as a young man. He maintained a lifelong wanderlust and traveled extensively during this life, a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip to the Grand Tetons with Clorinda being a recent highlight. He was an outdoorsman at heart who enjoyed hiking and fishing. At home, he was an avid gardener and spent many contented afternoons riding his mower.
Michael worked as an environmental consultant at Karl Environmental for many years and was anticipating retirement.
Left to cherish Mike's memory are wife, Clorinda; daughter, Rebecca Wenger (Tyler) of Reading; son, Ian Krisher of Denver, PA; stepson, John Katz of Lititz; grandchildren: Landon, Joshua, and Clara; and brother, Roy Krisher (Otilia) of Payson, AZ.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Kissinger's Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing,19610. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to defray the cost of services. These may be sent to the church at the address above.
