Obituary for Michael Howard Shade
Michael Howard Shade, Sr., 71, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at his Centerport residence. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late James and May (Ludwig) Shade. Michael grew up as one of ten children.
Mike was wild, crazy and spontaneous, you were always in for an adventure when spending time with him. At heart he was a family man who was always there for the ones he loved. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gathering around a campfire with family and friends. He also enjoyed his state of the art stereo system when listening to his collection of records. He will be remembered by his adoring family every time they see a Harley Davidson motorcycle, as this was also a passion of his.
Mike loved spending time with his family. Left to treasure his memory are his six children: Michael H. Shade, Jr. (Sherry), Adam Ji Shade, Bre Ann Shade (Nathan Cooley III), Echo Lyn Shade, Kimberly Sue Gibson (James), and Tonya Moser; eleven grandchildren: Zachary Shade, Christopher Cooley, Lea Cooley, Vincent Roberts III, Kobe Roberts, Angel Roberts, Alec Foreman, Brayden Wloczewski, Ariel Williard, Jarred Lord, and Jordan Lord; and five great-grandchildren, Sienna Shade, Isaiah Yoder, Mason Lord, Aiden Lord and Julian Lord.
We love you! Forever in our hearts your memories will be held and cherished. You will always be missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
