Obituary for Mitchel David Hausman

Mitchel David Hausman, 54, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at his Sinking Spring, Pa., home. He was the husband of Margaret (Negrotti) Hausman. They would have celebrated their 30th anniversary on Oct. 6.

Born July 30, 1965, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Sanford Hausman and the late Ronda (Goldberg) Hausman.

A 1983 graduate of Freehold High School in Freehold, N.J., Mitchel studied accounting at Rider University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Rider in 1988, and went on to a career in accounting.

Mitchel loved helping and mentoring young people. He coached youth basketball for several years in Hamilton, N.J., and youth baseball for several years in Hopewell, N.J. He was later heavily involved in the Boy Scouts, specifically with Pennsylvania Troop 431.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Patricia Hausman; his father, Sanford Martin Hausman; his three children: Peter, Sarah and Jacob Hausman, all of Sinking Spring, Pa.; and his sister Lisa (Hausman) Balasic of Hopewell, N.J.

He is also survived by his beloved dog, Mojo.

Mitchel was predeceased by his mother, Ronda Hausman, and his sister Jodi Lazarchick.
