Obituary for Olga Katsigiannis (Bistigonos)
Olga Katsigiannis, 87, passed away in the early hours of March 29, 2022, at Spruce Manor in West Reading, PA. She was the wife of the late Photis “Frank” Katsigiannis. They shared 51 wonderful years together until his passing in 2009.
Born in Greece, she came to the United States and graduated from William Penn High School in Harrisburg, PA. Olga was employed at Ye Olde Spring House Tavern, where her husband was a co-owner.
She was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Olga enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include two children, Mary Tsakiris (Bill) of Phoenix, AZ and Nicholas Katsigiannis (Jennifer) of Sinking Spring, PA and three grandchildren: Christine Tsakiris, Alex Tsakiris (Emily), and Tyler Katsigiannis.
Olga was preceded by her siblings: Christine, Vasilou, and George Bistiganos.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with interment at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. The viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
