Paulette Susan (Zaorski) Nawa, 70, of Reading, passed away February 27, 2021, at the Reading Hospital, with her family at her side.
She married the love of her life, Patrick Nawa, on May 31, 1975. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2008.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Regina (Glembocki) Zaorski.
Paulette was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn.
Paulette was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family; one of the best gifts she gave her son was staying at home to raise him. She was a gifted gardener. She took great pride in making her yard the most beautiful in the neighborhood. She was a kind and compassionate woman with a heart of gold. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Eric J., husband of Dawn Nawa, Lafayette, IN; two grandchildren, Cassie Mitchell-Woodrow, wife of Grayson, and Nicholas Friend; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved "neighborhood family," Corrie & Ted, and Sherry & Andy, and also her childhood friend Joanne.
Per her wishes, a private Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Catherine’s Chapel. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
