Obituary for Peter Lynn Heck
Peter Lynn Heck, 59, of Wernersville, passed away on August 16, 2023 surrounded by family.
Born February 28, 1964, in Reading, he was the son of Herman and Gloria (Leinbach) Heck.
Peter was a 1982 graduate of Wilson High School. He was an electrical supply warehouse manager for 38 years for Progress Electric Supply Company.
Peter was an avid gardener and took pride in his yard work. He was capable of fixing anything and everything and was always tinkering with something. He was always looking for the next home project to complete. He enjoyed going to beach at Lewes, Delaware every summer where he raked for clams. He cherished spending time with his family and dog, Chloe.
He is survived by his children: Sarah A. Heck, significant other of Matthew Burger, Jessica L. Strouse, wife of Kevin Strouse, and Justin S. Heck. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Myla, brother, Timothy Heck, and cousins, Bonita “Bonnie” Billman and Dean Sensenig.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA. A viewing will be held at the funeral home prior to the start of the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. A private burial will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023.
