Obituary for Pierino Ferretti Sr.
Pierino Ferretti, Sr., 72, of Sinking Spring, passed away January 26, 2021, at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Carolyn F. (Warunek) for 28 years.
Born in Montorio al Vomano, Italy, he was the son of Pietro and Nicolina (Pio) Ferretti.
Pierino was employed by Hofmann Industries as a die cut operator.
He enjoyed fishing, casinos, watching soccer and races. Pierino was an outstanding cook, and he loved fantastic food.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Pierino, Jr., husband of Dara, Mount Penn. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Jeffrey Hartman, Roanoke, VA, and Todd Hartman, husband of Melissa, Fleetwood. Four siblings, Berardo, Rosie, Fiorenzo and Mario also survive him. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jura, and his cat, Guido.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gianni.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
